About us

Family tradition

Art-Abażur Sp.j. is a family-owned Polish company, operating in the lighting industry since 1958. We are a manufacturer of lampshades for all types of interiors, made of high quality materials in a wide variety of colours and designs at reasonable prices. We operate both on the domestic and international market, providing products in classic and contemporary styles; adding unique character and atmosphere to rooms illuminated by our lamps.

Technological background

Our main assets are state-of-the-art machinery, and ongoing participation of our employees in training sessions, which helps them upgrade their knowledge about materials introduced onto the market.

On a daily basis, we combine over 60 years of tradition with modern technologies, and employ truly experienced staff. Moreover, we carry out installation tests of complex lighting structures, and our solutions provide a full guarantee of satisfaction to our customers.

Company history

1958
Jerzy Kromczyński opens a locksmith's workshop, first designs and patterns of table lamps and lampshades are created.
1964
We have our first trade fair stand at the Poznan International Fair! Things are happening!
1966
Relocation of business premises, doubling the size of the production and storage area.
1980
We establish international contacts. Our lamps are present at the Olympic Games in Moscow.
1998
The management of the company is taken over by the owner's son Krzysztof Kromczyński and the owner's daughter Lidia Zielińska.
2005
We relocate our business premises, and invest in a modern production line.
2008
We are growing! We are transformed into a general partnership.
2014
We are improving! We undergo a rebranding, including a new logo and various marketing activities.
2015
9. Relocation of business premises, expansion of production line and warehouse space.

10. Celebrating 60 years of business.
